1. Give your own idea/opinions about:

a.  Culture

Answer: Culture is the identity or a way of life of a society. Each culture has its own differences and characteristics that can be interpreted through the way they communicate. And in this case, language is needed to communicate.

B.Describes 

Answer : Describes communities in which there is a deep understanding and respect for all cultures. In an intercultural society, no one is left unchanged because everyone learns from one another and grows together.

C. Cross culture

Answer: Cross culture is a term that is often used to describe situations when a culture interacts with another culture and both of them have an influence and impact both positive and negative, as happens in every tourist activity, tourists are sure to interact and have both positive and negative impacts. 

D. Multicultural

Answer: individual differences or cultural differences, such as differences in values, systems, cultures, customs, and politics.

2. . Give one example of cultural conflict and offer the solution for its adjustment! 

Answer : When we visit European countries, we will experience culture shock because of the vast differences between eastern and western cultures, we will feel that there is a cultural conflict about this and find it difficult to accept things that are strange in our opinion but common to them.

Solution : As visitor, we must be able to adapt to foreign cultures that we encounter, not necessarily to imitate and forget the original culture, but only as our understanding that cultural diversity is very broad in scope. to be able to adapt is influenced by the length of stay and ourselves to mingle.

3. How do you define :

A. Mosaic 

Mosaic is the mix of ethnic groups, languages, and cultures that co-exist within society. The idea of a cultural mosaic is intended to champion an ideal of multiculturalism.

B.melting pot 

Melting pot is a monocultural metaphor for a heterogeneous society becoming more homogeneous, the different elements "melting together" with a common culture; an alternative being a homogeneous society becoming more heterogeneous through the influx of foreign elements with different cultural backgrounds, possessing the potential to create disharmony within the previous culture. Historically, it is often used to describe the cultural integration of immigrants to the United States.

3. Stereotype

A stereotype is a decision against a person based solely on the perception of the group into which that person can be categorized.

4. Prejudice

Prejudice means making a decision before knowing the relevant facts about the object. Initially this term referred to a judgment based on a person's race before having relevant information on which to base that judgment.
