FINAL TEST IMALT - SHELLA WIDIA S 1888203007
1. WHAT IS MEDIA IN TEACHING? HOW MANY TEACHING MEDIA TYPES DO YOU KNOW?
Media in teaching is all
instruments that the teacher can use to provide learning materials to the
student in the teaching process. It can be called teaching media when the media
provides instructional messages or knowledge that involves learning purposes. There
are three ways of teaching media, but narrowly split into audio, visual, and
audiovisual. Audio is a medium that can only be heard such as podcast, radio,
or records; audio teaching in English is typically used to develop listening
abilities and component sound and images in the new audiovisual media. This type of media has better
capabilities because it includes both audio (listening) and visual (seeing)
media types.
2. WHY TEACHER NEEDS MEDIA IN TEACHING?
The media has a very significant
role in teaching. It allows the teacher to clearly understand the material by
explaining the content to the student. Since media use can also increase or
even encourage excitement for learning. With this teaching medium, learning can
be achieved without the students getting bored.
3. WHAT ARE THE CRITERIA OF GOOD TEACHING MEDIA?
There are several requirements
for good teaching media, but the most important thing in teaching media is that
it should encourage the enthusiasm of learners to learn and even actively
participate, but also be able to accurately express the content and must also
be successful in its use.
4. DO YOU THINK THAT TEACHING MEDIA NEEDS TO BE DEVELOPED?
Technology that continues to grow
also has an effect on the educational environment, now the learning media is
also more diverse, learning media must be continually improved so that the
learning process can be carried out efficiently, interactively, enjoyable, and
motivates students to actively engage in the learning process. Teaching using
video can still look productive at the moment, but this will not be the same as
in the coming years, of course. Media teaching must therefore be established.
