Answer:

Learning media is a tool for teaching and learning, in the form of tools or techniques used in teaching and learning activities with the intention that the process of interaction, communication, education between teachers and students can take place in an efficient and effective manner, so as to stimulate attention, interest, thoughts and feelings.

How many types of teaching media are known, namely:

1. Print Media

In the form of modules such as magazines, pictures, posters, maps, photographs, wall magazines, flat boards, worksheets, newspaper clippings, handouts.

2.Media Audio

In the form of radio broadcasts, cd / dvd, podcasts, songs, music, mp3 files, telephone, language labs

Media Audio Visual Film, television, video.

3. Interactive Multimedia

In the form of games, applications based on android etc.

4.E-Learning

In the form of Udemy, Codeacademy, Ruangguru, Zenius, Google Classroom, etc.

2. Why teacher needs media in teaching ?

Answer:

because a teacher educators must be able to create various classroom situations, determine the teaching methods that will be used in different situations and create a healthy emotional climate among students. Even this learning tool / media can then help, the teacher brings the outside world into the classroom. Thus abstract and foreign ideas (methods) are concrete and easily understood by students. If the learning tools / media can be functioned properly and professionally, the learning process will run effectively.

4.Do you think that teaching media needs to be developed ? Why ? 

Answer:

 In my opinion, it is very necessary for teaching media because it can optimize the learning process. For teachers, learning media helps to concrete concepts or ideas and helps motivate participants to learn actively. For students, the media can be a bridge to think critically and act. Thus the media can help the task of teachers and students to achieve predetermined basic competencies. In order for learning media to be utilized properly, teachers need to know their learning needs and the problems faced by students regarding the material to be taught. Related to that, the media needs to be developed based on relevance, basic competencies, material and student characteristics. Teachers can act as creators, namely creating and utilizing appropriate, efficient, and fun media for students. However, in its use in the classroom, it needs to be emphasized that it is students who should take advantage of the learning media. According to the behavioristic paradigm, learning is the transfer of knowledge from the expert to the novice. That the use of teaching media in the teaching and learning process can generate new desires and interests, generate motivation and stimulation of learning activities, and even bring psychological influences on students.
