The answer.

1. As we know that media has a meaning as a container or a place,and teaching means teaching.This means that it can be concluded that media in teaching  is a container or a place or tool used to convey teacher information to students.container or place here is not just a matter of location but can be in the form of supporting tools to carry out the teaching and learning process. Example of the media :

- audio media,examples of audio media such as radios, tape recorders, telephones, language laboratories, and others.

- visual media,examples of visual media such as Photographs, illustrations, flashcards, selected pictures and cutouts, frame films, frame films, OHP, graphics, charts, diagrams, posters, maps.

- audio visual media,examples of audio visual media film,television.

2. The teacher needs media in teaching is because to make it easier to convey learning information to students.because the type of students in absorbing the learning varies.some absorb the learning through audio media,visual media or audio-visual media.So we have to be more varied in choosing learning media.

3. In my opinion, the criteria for a good instructional media are where the media adjusts to the needs of students, is practical when used, and is grouped according to the needs of students.

4. yes in my opinion it is a must, because we can easily make variations in the teaching and learning process so that students are not bored.  and also students are very enthusiastic about new things so that they are excited to learn.
