1.What is media in teaching? How many teaching media types do you know,
explain!
2. Why teacher need media in teaching?
3.What are the criteria of good teaching media?
4.Do you think that teaching media needs to be developed? Why?
Answer:
1.Media in teaching is learning
aids, about everything that can be used to encourage thoughts, feelings,
attention and abilities or skills of students so as to encourage the
implementation of the learning process. So, media in teaching is tools (aids)
or objects used in learning, with the intention of conveying messages
(information) of learning from sources (educators and other sources) to
recipients (students). Assistive devices, especially during this pandemic, for
example is hanphone. Then the tools during normal schooling are books, globes,
audio, slide shows.
2. Teachers need media in
teaching as a tool for conveying messages conveyed by teachers so that students
are more enthusiastic about learning and understanding. Second, to overcome the
limitations of space, energy time, passion for learning, direct interaction
between students and learning resources. Third, enabling children to learn
independently according to their visual and auditory talents and abilities.
3. Good teaching media is
practical but easy for students to apply, is in accordance with the learning
concept, has good standards to use, can be used for a long time and
continuously, and most importantly is in accordance with the objectives.
4. Yes, I think it is very
necessary. Because learning media is currently very much needed, especially
online learning media for the Covid19 pandemic. If there is no online learning
media, teachers and students will get miss communication, do not know the
direction of learning objectives and certainly not in the order of learning.
Also this learning media is useful and makes students feel more excited when
learning, and is useful for generalizing science and technology.
