Answer:

1. Learning media is one of the methods or tools used in the teaching and learning process. This is done to stimulate learning patterns in order to support the success of the teaching and learning process so that teaching and learning activities can be effective in achieving the desired goals.

There are 3 teaching media that I know, namely: audio media, visual media, audio visual media.

A. Media Audio : Media audio functions to transmit audio messages from the message source to the message recipient. Audio media is closely related to the sense of hearing, examples of media: radio, tape recorder, telephone, language laboratory, etc.

B. Visual media, namely media that rely on the sense of sight. For example: photos, illustrations, posters, maps, and others.

C. Audiovisual media is a medium capable of displaying sound and images, for example PowerPoint (PPT)

2. in my opinion, teachers need media in teaching so that students being taught can better understand the material being taught, according to my experience when I was a student I first understood the material taught by the teacher because the media used by the teacher were various, not only explaining by speaking in front of the class only, but he uses audiovisual media such as power points, anismation videos, and cartoons about the material.

 

3. The criteria of good teaching media: In accordance with the objectives to be achieved, the characteristics of the media to be used in accordance with the learning process, being able to support the content and learning materials, the media is easy to obtain, the use does not take a long time, the suitability of learning media with the students' way of thinking, According to the Ability of the Teachers.

4. In my opinion, it is necessary, because technology is increasingly developing so the teaching media must be improved and more developed in order to increase the enthusiasm for student learning.
