 1. Give your own idea/opinions about:

a). Culture

    Culture is a lifestyle that develops in a group of people and is passed down from generation to generation and this culture affects aspects of life such as religion, politics. customs, language, buildings, clothing, even in a work of art that is never affected by influence culture.

b). Inter Culture

     The involvement of face to face interactions among people of different cultures.

c). Cross Culture

     Cross Culture is studying people with different cultural backgrounds by interacting with each other in order to influence each other's cultures, this can produce a new culture from the amalgamation of different culture.

d). Multi Culture 

     A society whose population structure consists of various ethnic and that diversity is the source of the cultural or sub cultural  diversity of each ethnicity.


2. Give one example of cultural conflict and offer the solution for its adjustment!

Answer : 

    When we visit European countries, we will experience culture shock because of the vast differences between  eastern and western cultures, we will feel that there is a cultural conflict about this and find it difficult to accept things that are strange in our opinion but common to them.

Solution : As visitor, we must be able to adapt to foreign cultures that we encounter, not necessarily to imitate and forget the original culture, but only as our understanding that cultural diversity is very broad in scope. to be able to adapt is influenced by the length of stay and ourselves to mingle.


3. How do you define :

a). Mosaic

    Mosaics are ideas that support and claim to be multicultural within a community group.

b).  Melting pot

     Melting pot is describing the occurrence of assimilation in a culture where heterogeneous society becomes homogeneous.

c).  Stereotype

    Stereotype is the scope of a person's perception or thought to simply a complex thing based on information.

d). Prejudice

    An opinion or statement that has not been proven true, or prejudice can also be said as aSn accusation without any evidence.
