THE WEAKON OF THE WORLD DUE TO COVID 19

COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019) is a disease caused by a new type of coronavirus, Sars-CoV-2, which was first reported in Wuhan China on 31 December 2019. Covid-19 can cause symptoms of acute respiratory disorders such as fever above 38 ° C, coughing and shortness of breath for humans. It can also be accompanied by weakness, muscle aches, and diarrhea. In patients with severe Covid-19, can cause pneumonia, acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure and even death. Covid-19 can be transmitted from human to human through close contact and droplets (splashes of fluid when sneezing and coughing), not through the air. Covid-19 forms when viewed through an electron microscope such as a virus that has a crown. There are two general strategies to reduce the spread of the corona virus, believing social distancing and lockdown.

To suppress the spread of co-19 in Indonesia, President Jokowi on 15 March 2020 called on residents to implement social distancing to reduce the spread of co-19. Social distancing policy seems not yet fully understood by the community as a strategy to prevent the spread of covid-19. Because, although co-19 is very troubling to the community in terms of health and personal safety, the bond of social relations is still stronger in the people's perspective. Where the application of social distancing becomes a dilemma in its application. First, people have difficulty running social distancing because of habits in togetherness, cooperation, solidarity, and the like as a form of social interaction. Secondly, for ordinary people, they assume that social distancing is only limited to maintaining distance, seen at times when in public areas such as when queuing at an automated teller machine (ATM). This is the problem that must be solved, finding a solution to prevent the spread of Covid-19 more effectively. Moreover, the appeal is not going home from the government before the fasting month, some people seem to be starting to disobey. Thus the policy on social distancing must be emphasized more on physical distancing. On the other hand, economic factors are also factors that cannot be ignored, the fear of losing work. This is understandable because so far there are still many businesses that have not explicitly stated their alignments with the work from home (WFH) policy for various reasons. Add to this the fact that there are community members who really have to leave the house because only by leaving the house can the survival of their families be maintained. Online motorcycle taxi drivers and informal sector workers are groups who are dealing with difficult choices today. Last but not least, there is no other choice, overcoming the Covid-19 outbreak requires synergy of all parties, awareness and sacrifice of all parties, not only the government, but also the business world, education, and society. Social sensitivity to others is a force that should be the spearhead in overcoming this problem. But from the government policy regarding the implementation of social distancing, there are still many reaping the pros and cons of the community.

"If I just agree, if only for social distancing it is only to keep a distance, yet I also feel uncomfortable when in public transportation to be close, especially with the opposite sex." (Diamonds, bank employees. March 27, 2020)

"If I personally agree, so that there will not be many casualties caused by this corona virus" (Robi, private employee. March 27, 2020)

"As for me, I'm a believer. I do not agree at all, because we believe that God created the virus. If we fear God, God willing, it doesn't work. " (Jumadi, online motorcycle taxi driver. March 27, 2020)

"I do not agree, because the problem is that there is a God who regulates and I personally only fear God not the virus." (Kodir, trader. March 27, 2020)

According to social observers, Anthony Tonggo "social distancing is applied to limit the distance of interaction or movement of every human being so as not to be infected with Covid-19. In this context, experts say that this virus can spread between people who have the virus to others if it is under a meter. So, the government decided that everyone keep the shortest distance above one meter. However, the fact is that there are still many people, especially in Ende Regency who do not understand social distancing as an effort to not spread the virus freely. According to him, this fact shows that the concept of social distancing is not well understood by the public due to obstruction of public communication that is hampered between the government and the community in the villages, both because the term is in English and limited access to media. In addition, because of the mentality of the people who are still stubborn, both because of individual mental obstacles and political obstacles in which the political sentiments of the elections are still ongoing. So fighting the government is a way of political choice. Then there is a bad mentality in a society that is proud to be able to fight the authorities or officials. With these problems, it is recommended that social distancing should be positioned as a rule, not an appeal. This means there needs to be sanctions for those who violate them, such as going to prison or other sanctions. The weakness of social policy distancing so far is an appeal, without punishment for violators. He reiterated, the government must carry out repressive measures against people who are not obedient in keeping their distance or who are still hanging around and gathering, disperse and the law. Look at the legal loopholes, the government needs to do repressive actions. This is not under normal conditions, but an emergency condition. There is no more time for persuasion and education. What exists is carry out and sanction hard. "(Sunday, March 29, 2020)

The Covid-19 pandemic is still a polemic not only in Indonesia, but also throughout the world. Positive patients are increasingly surging every day which makes the whole country to do various ways to reduce the number of spreads of this disease. In addition to implementing social distancing, the government will take decisive steps to do isolation or lockdown. Lockdown is defined as closing access from inside or outside (quarantine). It can also be said as a situation that does not allow people to enter or leave a building or area freely for reasons of something emergency. Lockdown is usually followed by a ban on holding meetings involving large numbers of people or crowds, closing of gathering places such as schools, universities or other public places. This becomes an emergency protocol, established by government authorities in the sense of protecting the public. If that happens, it will certainly affect many things in Indonesia. Which certainly will paralyze many sectors in Indonesia, especially the economy.

"If we see that the United States has only recently set a national emergency status. In my opinion, Indonesia has to establish a national emergency status and possibly a temporary lockdown," (Fadhli Zon, Gerindra Party politician, March 3, 2020)

"I also follow the news lockdown plan. You better not, poor people. So where from? Is there a guarantee we are given? People who have good money can buy goods, stock and food piles. This is the pain of rich people, who like to go abroad, but our little ones are sacrificed. Little people can't. That was just yesterday the Jakarta Governor's policy which limited transportation, everyone was troubled. His wife is long. Frankly, there is no lockdown, I have difficulty finding money. Usually from online motorcycle taxi, you can get an additional IDR 200,000. Now? Can get Rp. 50,000, it's already profitable. Really quiet. If it's lockdown, I can't do motorbike, I also can't go home every week to visit my wife and children in Bogor. " (Abas, tailors and motorcycle taxis online.44 years)

According to President Jokowi, what is Lockdown? People may not leave the house, transportation must all stop, be it buses, private vehicles, bicycle cars, trains, planes all stop. Office activities were all stopped. "We don't want to take that path," Jokowi said. "We want to keep economic activity there, but our people must keep a safe distance, social distancing, physical distancing is the most important," he continued. Therefore, Jokowi prefers to apply large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) With this PSBB scheme, economic activity continues, but there are still a number of restrictions to prevent the spread of Covid-19. For example, the application of work, study and worship from homes in vulnerable areas. also reminded to discipline keep distance from each other. In addition, people are also reminded to always maintain cleanliness. "So if we all discipline to do that, keep a safe distance, wash your hands after every activity, do not hold the nose, mouth or eyes, reduce it, lock our hands, so that transmission can really be prevented "(Jakarta, Kompas.com.02 April 2020, 05:40 WIB)

It can be concluded, that the Covid-19 phenomenon is very disturbing for humans throughout the world. The large number of fatalities due to the corona virus was allegedly because the governments in each country were not ready to deal with it. In fact, it is undeniable that governments in various countries seem overwhelmed when 'fighting' against the corona virus. The limited number of health workers both doctors and nurses and the lack of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) resulted in health services not optimal. In fact, not a few health workers who also became victims of the "malignancy" corona virus. Therefore, the government applies social distancing and physical distancing which will certainly limit our mobility and mobility. Even lockdown results in us not being able to move outside the home as usual, which results in us getting bored and even stressed. If we all want this corona virus to quickly disappear from the face of the earth, we need to take care of ourselves according to health protocols and to achieve it, we need cooperation from all elements of society. Including the government, medical personnel, and each individual.
