         Investigating Covid - 19 Cases in Riau

    Corona virus or often abbreviated as Covid-19 is a new type of corona virus that emerged in Wuhan, China. in December 2019.This corona virus entered Indonesia in March 2020 and continues to spread to various regions in Indonesia, especially in Riau.

    For the first corona case in Riau, it was announced on March 18, 2020 by a spokesperson covid-19 response team in Riau province, Indra Yovi,Wednesday(18/3/2020).until the 30th June 2020, as written in the Kompas.Com Journal, while the covid case in Riau is positive :: 226,recover : 176,died : 10. And also according to official website Corona.riau.go.id  on june 30,2020.Riau provincial health department head Mimi Yuliani Nazir, said that there were no positive cases of co-19 in Riau.

   This shows that the efforts to deal with Covid-19 by the government and the medical team are very responsive to the Corona case.this is evidenced by the holding of a tight PSBB conducted by the Riau provincial government on the ladder of 15 may 2020 ago.These actions can reduce the distribution of corona cases in Riau.Other evidence is strengthened by the decrease in mortality due to the corona virus in Riau Province.


    Not only that, Riau is also included in the 10 lowest cases for Covid-19 in Indonesia that was said by the Riau Provincial Information and Statistics Communication Service.Although the corona virus distribution curve in Riau Province is sloping, we as citizens must still comply with health protocols by wearing masks, diligently washing hands with soap, implementing healthy lifestyles, exercising diligently, and eating nutritious food in order to suppress the covid distribution.
